1. Stress and fatigue: People have the least control of what they chose to eat when tired or stressed after a day's work. 4. No portion control: You may not even see the food your eating, unless your looking at the food instead of the road; you have no idea of portion; you will eat what ever you can easily reach. 3. Poor Selection: Car eating involves high calorie, easy to obtain and eat types of foods. Who eats a salad or fruit in a car? 4. Food is used for a reward: After a hard day's work, it's easy to reach over and eat a chunk of French bread, hot donuts or a bag of chips. 5. No one is looking: For some overweight people this is part of the “fun”- hiding the evidence from spouses, friends and even children.They hide the empty bag in their purse, squeeze it into the compartment between the seats or on the door, or even pull over to the nearest trash bin and discard it. –the more clever the deception the better the food tastes.
