Organic Food Will Not Help You Lose Weight but It Will Slim Down Your Wallet PDF Print E-mail

One of the biggest traps for dieters is the word "organic." Just because the label says it's organic does not mean "organic" or even healthy and certainly not necessarily low in calories, carbs or even fat.  One can gain just as much weight from  organic foods as fast foods. Even the word "natural" and "healthy" may not apply to organically grown food.  Organic food is often  three times as expensive than "normal"  food. Organic or "healthy" foods DO NOT equal
weight loss!

The "organic rules" are intended to address production methods rather than the physical qualities of the products themselves The only assurance you have a product is at least 95 percent organic and meets federal standards is the U.S. Department of Agriculture organic seal.

Weight Lifting & Toning Do Not Help with Weight Loss PDF Print E-mail

Weight Loss Occurs When Calories Are Burned With Aerobic Exercise-NOT by Building Bigger Muscles!  The difference between muscle metabolism ( 6 cal/lb) and fat metabolism ( 2 cal /lb) is not as great as one might think. If you replace 10 lb. of fat with 10 lb. of muscle you burn
about 40 calorie more per day. It's hard for most people to build up 10 lb. of muscle.

The exercise industry promotes the idea that working out will help you to lose weight and sculpt your body. Using the right equipment or doing the right exercises, according to them, will take fat off the love handles, thighs, underarms, and other very specific parts of your body.

Men  try this by doing  crunches  to get that thin belly.
Females try to get rid of their muffin tops  by all kinds of belly exercises.

The problem is that distribution of fat is for the most part genetically determined and has little to do with how much one exercises or diets. Moreover, building muscle mass is not ineffective in promoting weight loss for the average dieter.

740 Calories & 76 Grams of Sugar for a Chocolate Mocha or a Hazelnut Hot Chocolate!

Let's face it, It's just an excuse to drink a milkshake, the danger is that it is presented as being "healthy"
and trendy.

It's the trendy  image of Starbucks-Not the cost:
Americans are distressed with paying $3.00 dollars or more for their gas, but  not for a $ 4.75  glass of java chip Frappuccino- 530 calories of coffee, syrup, milk, ice, and whipped cream. When it comes to high priced coffees,  there seems to be no limit.

Coffee is America's Fuel:
America's fuel is coffee, not gasoline with over 330 million cups of coffee drunk a day. Bob Thompson, a professor  at Syracuse University writes,  " One could really make the argument that coffee is the "American lubricant." It lubricates social situations and the workplace.

As you're working during the day, coffee becomes the equivalent of 'in-flight fueling station,'" says Thompson. "You grab a cup on your way to work, you've got your little commuting holder in your car, there's a pot at work."
