Stop Feeling Guilty if You Don't Exercise Like an Athlete:
Getting over the exercise mind set: Inactivity may be involved in causing obesity but is not the cure all. All you need is a little NEAT.

Beginning dieters often start a weight loss program by spending thousands of dollars on home exercise equipment or go to a local gym, pay the $150.00 membership fee and sign up to have $45.00 withdrawn from their checking account each month. Whether the driving force is guilt from a lifetime of inactivity or the desire to be part of the “skinny crowd,” the result is usually all or nothing when attempting to do activities far beyond your abilities or
likes. What you need to do is some lifestyle exercises, NEAT.

You don’t want you to tie weight loss plan to any other goal in your life other than losing weight. If the diet is linked to going to the gym, then it will end when going to gym ends. It just does not matter how beneficial working out could be. It makes no sense for somebody who has not walked the stairs in 10 years to go to the gym and do real physical exercises several times per week. This is a sure deal breaker.

Regular, organized exercise involves a tremendous commitment of time and effort and is surely not the “favorite” pastime of most people with weight problems.of course it is beneficial to improve muscle and bones, to prevent cardiovascular disease and lower blood sugar and blood pressure but it is far less important than watching the food. When overweight people are unable to follow the exercise plans put forth by their trainers or the exercise-diet gurus who write some of the diet books, they become guilty and often just give up.

Those struggling to lose weight need to stop trying to imitate the skinny crowd who love going to the gym and start being themselves. Ten to fifteen minutes of lifestyle exercise a day is all that is needed and probably all that can be expected from most overweight Americans.
